Ratio to Cents

Enter a frequency ratio such as the 3/2 perfect fifth, where 3 is the numerator (top box) and 2 is the denominator (bottom) box. Typical values include 4/3, 3/4, 5/4, 11/8, 81/64, 81/80, 442/440, 1.618/1, etc. Once you have entered the numerator and denominator, click the Convert to Cents button and the equivalent size in cents and decimal equivalent will be displayed. All values are rounded to 3 decimal places.
